Welcome to the fourth grade!! I am excited and anxious for the 2001-2002 school year to begin. Below you will find a synopsis of the subjects we will study during the first nine weeks of school. I will try to update the website every three weeks or so. Later in the year, you will be able to see photos of activities we have done in class, so check in often! You will find links to many sites that can benefit your child and his or her studies. Language Arts (Grammar): Writing Descriptive Paragraphs and Identifying and Using: Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adjectives, and Adverbs.
Science: Rocks and Minerals. See the link below for a game I created using some of the vocabulary from this chapter.
Social Studies: North Carolina Geography with an introduction to the 3 regions: The Coastal Plain, The Piedmont, and The Mountains. This is chapter 1 in the Social Studies book.
