Photonics Leaders program curriculum supports and expands upon local state, national and international science, technology, engineering and mathematics education standards. The investigations of photonics concepts and internship experiences at North Carolina State and RTP area equip participants to behave and think like real scientists.
Students attend classes at the university throughout the school year. The students prepare for research opportunities as an intern. Upon completion, students receive a scholarship stipend.
