Application Process

The program, for rising tenth graders, prepares students for internships with research scientists, engineers and business industries in the Research Triangle Park and North Carolina State University. Upon successful completion of the program, the twelfth grade students can earn scholarship stipends.

Photonics Leaders registration is open for Summer 2008.

Applicants must complete the pre-registration form and meet the additional requirements:

  • Maintain a 3.0 grade point average.
  • Send $25 pre-registration fee and copy of transcipt and report card by March 28, 2008.
  • Return a complete formal application by April 21, 2008.
  • Mandatory Orientation May 13, 2008 at 6:30 pm
