EnviroTech:
Exploring Environmental Science

A Summer Camp for NC Rising 11th and 12th Graders
NC State University, Raleigh, North Carolina

EnviroTech will not be offered in 2008

Ever wonder...
    • Why it rains more near the coast than inland?
    • How pollution gets in the water?
    • Why some of our rivers are muddy looking and some are not?
    • Why it's cooler at the beach in July?
    • What geologists in NC are up to?
    • How they make those cool satellite images on TV?

…Then EnviroTech may be for you!

EnviroTech provides an opportunity for rising 12th grade North Carolina college-track students to spend two weeks of their summer using computers and field and laboratory equipment to investigate the science of our environment. Students learn to design their own original research project, execute their design and report their findings to family, friends and NC State researchers. The two week camp is held on the campus of NC State University in Raleigh.
