2. Measure balsa sticks to dimensions.
3. Cut out sticks.
4. Use hot glue to construct glider. Use the poster board as a guide.
5. Allow model to dry (2-3 minutes).
6. Cover each wing of the glider with tissue paper. Make sure that the tissue paper is wrapped tightly around each wing. Use rubber cement to glue the tissue paper to the frame.
7. Use needle and thread to attach one jumbo paper clip around the center of the frame.
8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 using the following dimensions for the other two gliders:

Testing
1. Take the gliders
to an open, flat area.
2. Drop the large glider from a height of 365 cm off of a high, stable object (e.g. a wall).
3. Watch for the maximum forward distance that the wings reach.
4. Place a piece of masking tape on the floor to mark the maximum forward distance.
5. Measure the distance from the masking tape to the wall.
6. Measure the distance from the nose of the glider to the wall.
7. Record all data.
8. Repeat steps 2-7 nine more times.
9. Repeat steps 2-8
with the other two gliders.
