LabWrite for Middle School Teachers
October 2, 2004
The Science House, Asheville, NC

Do you struggle to get good lab reports from your middle school students? How can you help them improve their writing skills while focusing on communicating science? Introducing LabWrite for middle school students!

The Labwrite project is focused on improving lab report writing skills. The Labwrite website (labwrite.ncsu.edu/) guides students through the lab writing process, from pre-lab questions to recording information on the experiment itself and drawing conclusions. The Labwrite workshop will demonstrate to teachers how Labwrite can be used effectively in their middle school Science classroom.

Join us for a 6 hour workshop for middle school teachers in Western North Carolina on Saturday, October 2, 2004. Participants will explore the online resources, take part in sample investigations and more.
