The American Meteorological Society E M H
is the nation's leading professional society for scientists in the atmospheric and related sciences. The Society sponsors a number of education initiatives designed specifically for teachers.

This site is produced by the Consortium for Oceanographic Activities for Students and Teachers and covers almost all areas of earth science. Visualization modules and activities are catagorized by grade level and topic.

In addition to the booklet, there is an insert on each of the seventeen river basins in North Carolina available from our office. We also have the "North Carolina's River Basins" poster available for you. These materials can be ordered from our office and sent to you free of charge. Many teachers have found it helpful to order one poster and a class set of the booklets with all 17 inserts. We are happy to provide these for you.
