Technology Elementary Science Workshop

Here is a great opportunity for teachers at Lucile Souders, Warrenwood, West Area, and Pauline Jones to participate in a free and exciting science technology workshop, equipment loan and technical support program.
The North Carolina State University (NCSU) Science House is hosting a technology science workshop for the elementary teachers in the MSAP Grant attendance area . The workshop features Vernier Technologies Go! Temp, Go! Link hardware and Logger Lite software. Learn how your students can conduct laboratory investigations using electronic probeware interfaced with computer software.
What will happen
during the workshop?
- Teachers will participate in hands-on science learning activities that have been correlated to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
- Teachers will learn how to use Vernier Technologies latest data collection software and hardware innovations. Logger Lite software and Go! Temp and Go1 Link hardware have been specifically designed for elementary science programs.

Everyone completing the workshop will:

Receive an $85.00 per day stipend

Receive copies of all lab materials

Free snacks during the workshop

20 hours of instruction (2.0 CEU)

Participate in an equipment loan and technical support program.
