Imhotep Academy and Algebra Program
A year round program in math, chemistry, physics and computers that focuses on a current topic of interest. Past topics include biotechnology, forensics and engineering.

Expanding Your Horizons
This one day conference brings seventh grade girls to the NCSU campus to learn about science and math careers from successful women in hands-on workshops.

Photonics Leaders II
Photonics Leaders incorporates mentoring, job shadowing and independent projects to equip participants to behave and think like real scientists.

Ag-DISCOVERY Summer Camp
A two-week residential camp designed to help teen-agers learn about careers in plant science.

NC Science Olympiad
The North Carolina Science Olympiad (NCSO) involves teamwork, group planning and cooperation, and an emphasis on rich conceptual learning through active, hands-on group participation. NCSO has eleven regional contests and a statewide tournament. Statewide tournament winners go to the national finals.

NSF FREEDM (Future Renewable Electrical Energy Delivery and Management) Systems Center Pre-College Outreach
The Center is partnering with 14 middle and high schools in North Carolina, Florida, and Arizona top provide summer programs for students and teachers and classroom visits.

The Science House Girls Collaborative Project
The Science House Girls Collaborative Project brings together organizations throughout North Carolina that are committed to informing and motivating girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The project will bring organizations together to compare needs and resources, share information, and to plan strategically to expand STEM-related opportunities for girls.
