New and Improved Blast Activity!
Blast Part 1 - Investigate the Insulin protein and the mutations which cause disease. This activity is an introduction to using and interpreting the Blast database. Inquiry extensions involve comparing human insulin to insulin in other species.
Blast Part 2 - Help annotate hypethotical genes of the magnaporthe grisea genome. This activity is similar to the original with screen shots to aid interpretation.
