High School Biology Teacher Workshop
at University of Arizona
Relating Genetics to Everyday Life

June 13-17, 2005

The summer workshop, held on the campus of the University of Arizona, focused on high school biology educators and their use of the activities manual in their own classrooms. It gave teachers the opportunity to do the same experiments that they will be teaching, and practice the lab preparation needed to do the experiments with their students. Kits to support some of the activities in the manual will be provided on a rotation schedule to the teachers who attended the workshop to use in their classrooms.
