Workshops
We offer several workshops every summer based on our
lab manuals. This year, we will be offering three hands-on
environmental science education workshops for high school teachers.
Check out pictures of
our past workshops!
Teachers will participate in lab activities during the workshops.
These are hands-on experiences! Staff from The Science-House
and a trainer from Lab-Aids will lead this three day event.
For participating, teachers will receive a bunch of
free goodies. These include, but are not limited to,:

Technology Center for Environmentally Responsible Solvents and
Processes publication, Environmental Science: A Collection of
Activities for the High School Classroom Volume II (lab manual)
- Stipend of $75 per day
- Free lunch and snacks on workshop days
- Correlations with NC SCOS competency goals
- Environmental Education Certification Credit
