Manuals

Below are pictures and information about the manuals that have been printed by the project and The Science House. These manuals contain hands-on environmental science activities for the classroom that have been correlated to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study and to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. We have found these activities to be useful and hope you do as well. Activities from these manuals are often conducted in our workshops. The current manual is given out in our workshops for free. To learn more about our workshops, click "Workshops" on the left-hand menu.

Our manuals are free to educators in North Carolina and Texas. Don't forget, we have many resources available to teachers in all statese such as the activities listed online and the "Focus on a Scientist" newsletter.

Upon reciept of a manual, educators are asked to fill out an evaluation. This evaluation is used to improve future publications. The evaluation may be submitted online (under "Feedback") or via regular mail. Requesting a manual implies that you will complete the evaluation.
