- St. Timothy's School (Raleigh) Science Fair
Thursday, January 31, 2008
Scientists are needed to serve as judges. Lunch will be served to
presenters.
- Pleasant Union Elementary School (Raleigh) (Earth Day Celebrations)
April 16, 2008, or April 22, 2008; many time slots are currently
open
Scientists are needed to do the "Silly Putty" or "Oobleck"
activities with elementary students. Session length and number of
students are flexible, depending on needs of presenters. Lunch will
be served to presenters.
- Edwards Middle School (Rocky Mount, NC) (Science Night- Force and Motion)
March 6, 2008, 7:00-8:30pm (presenters are asked to arrive between 6:30 and 6:45pm)
Grade level: Kindergarten through Fifth Grade
Number of students are flexible, depending on the needs of the presenter.
This is farther than we usually travel. However, Sufiana Conover, the teacher requesting the visit, participated in one of our CERSP summer workshops in Chapel Hill, and she is a terrific teacher.
- West Wilkes Middle School (Millers Creek, NC)

Grade level: Sixth Grade
Number of students are flexible, depending on the needs of the presenter.
- Montessori School (Winston-Salem, NC)
